Desmond Hodge, School Psychologist, Marion County Public Schools

Desmond Hodge is a practicing School Psychologist in the Department of Psychological and Social Work Services, in Marion County Public Schools. He has served in the educational field for over 17 years with the continuum of his experience spanning K12 to postsecondary education.
Dr. Hodge achieved several degrees from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU); Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in educational leadership, Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) in school psychology, and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in psychology. He earned an additional Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in educational leadership and supervision from American College of Education (ACE).
He holds leadership licensure and certification in school psychology and educational in the states of Illinois and Florida. His professional membership includes the American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (AACTE), including participation in the AACTE Holmes Scholar Program— “Once a Holmes Scholar, Always a Holmes Scholar” —and affiliations with the Association on Higher Education and Disability (AHEAD), National Association of School Psychology (NASP), and Florida Association of School Psychology (FASP).
